the great rhombicosadodecahedron
Below is a photo gallery of my year 13 further maths students making a great rhombicosadodecahedron. This is one of the archimedean solids comprised of decagons, squares and hexagons. The angle defect at each vertex is just 6 degrees which is why it is so round!
We went round all the classrooms showing what we had made - you would be surprised how many people wanted to climb inside it!
